Consultation
Before jumping into treatment, you first schedule a consultation with one of our friendly and knowledgeable providers. This appointment creates space for open conversation, helping you learn which treatments suit your needs.
During your consultation, your provider asks you to describe how you want to look and feel after treatment. You also answer questions about your medical history and any medications you take. This information helps reduce your risk of developing rare but serious complications.
Once your provider has a better understanding of what you hope to achieve with your appointment, you work together to create your personalized treatment plan. This plan designates a combination of services that addresses your aesthetic goals.
Preparing for Treatment
Although preparation instructions vary from treatment to treatment, our providers ask that you drink plenty of water before the day of your appointment. Hydrated skin responds more effectively to services like laser skin resurfacing and microneedling, and staying hydrated helps you heal more efficiently.

Providers at our med spa also recommend avoiding blood-thinning medications and products in the weeks leading up to your injectable appointment to prevent excessive bruising.
Some of these products we suggest you avoid include:
- Alcohol
- Fish oil
- Melatonin
- Dark chocolate
- Vitamin E
- Ginger
- Garlic
- Cayenne pepper
As always, you should protect your skin from the sun’s harmful rays by applying sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher. Excessive sun exposure can damage your skin, making treatments less effective, and in some cases, unsafe. We have a variety of high-quality sunscreens available in our skincare shop.
