Similar to microneedling, AquaGold uses tiny 24-karat gold needles to cause microinjuries to the skin. However, AquaGold also delivers custom-mixed products—such as platelet-rich plasma, Botox, retinol, fillers like Juvéderm, and antioxidants—directly into the dermal layers of the skin for longer-lasting results. No facial or serum can deliver the same enhancements as AquaGold.
Recovery
There is no downtime after AquaGold in Winston-Salem and Greensboro, with rare need of social downtime. There may be a bit of bruising depending on your body’s response. This can be easily camouflaged with a good concealer. Many patients show little or no such signs. As time passes, people will notice a more refreshed look, but no one will be able to tell exactly what is different about you!
The surgical-grade stainless steel inside the AquaGold needles provides structural integrity to the microchannel. The pure gold plating has high biocompatibility with human skin, thereby preventing irritation and allergic responses in or on the skin after use. The impurities in other metals, along with your body’s reaction to the metal itself, may result in unnecessary irritation.
