A graduate of Wake Forest University’s Bowman Gray School of Medicine’s Physician Assistant Program, Marisa is a seasoned professional who has dedicated more than 40 years of her health care career toward medical aesthetics, plastic surgery, and weight loss.
During the early years of her career, she had the good fortune to work with some of the best plastic surgeons in the region. She thought then what she knows now—that less-invasive procedures are perfect for people who don’t want or need a drastic change to their overall appearance.
Marisa passionately describes her mission: “My calling and my God-given gift is to uncover the hidden beauty in each person who walks through my doors.” Her years of experience and devotion to her work make her a sought-after injector, and she is known for her excellent eye. She is credentialed as a Master Level Injector, and she occupies Top 250 Status with Allergan, placing her among the Top Half of One Percent (.05%) of injectors in the nation. She has twice been honored with the 100 Best Injectors award, voted on by her peers.
Marisa is also a trainer for Allergan, and she’s a sought-after Forbes speaker. She has written and published her first book, Empowered by Beauty: A Testament for Unleashing Self-confidence. A memoir and commentary on the non-invasive cosmetics industry, it’s available through Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
With an extensive experience in plastic surgery, dermatology, and weight loss, she has managed multiple large practices, owned four weight loss clinics, and implemented weight loss programs for 20+ medical clinics, Marisa’s goal is to restore the beauty that is within and discover the best non-invasive procedures. Her practice is known for the early adoption of the latest innovations in the industry.
As a minister for her church, Marisa is quite likely to give her patients a hug before creating their customized treatment plan. Her first goal is to make sure her patient feels confident, comfortable, and empowered by their treatment, and she will never let anyone leave her care looking “done.”
Marisa was born in Guatemala and raised in Pakistan, relocated to Deerfield, Illinois, before moving to New York. Marisa fell in love with the Triad while attending Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University, and she never left. She is married to Robby Faircloth, Pastor of Hope Christian fellowship in Greensboro, NC. She has four children: Korban, Kaleb, Faith, and Hope.
