SEPT. 28, 2016 – Allergan, Plc, (NYSE: AGN), announced in June that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved JUVEDERM VOLBELLA® XC for use in increasing lip fullness and softening the appearance of fine lines around the lips in adults. Marisa Faircloth, PA-C, of Restoration MedSpa, will be one of the first healthcare providers in the Triad offering the product beginning on October 1.
“With our Allergan platinum level practice and master level injector status, we will receive this wonderful new product immediately after launch … and prior to it becoming available to other practices,” says Faircloth.
A seasoned professional who has devoted more than 30 years to helping patients understand their treatment options, Faircloth is one of only three people in the region ranked as a master injector (due in large part to the number of patients she’s treated).
“Volbella® XC provides a soft and natural appearance and more long-lasting results,” says Faircloth. “We felt it was important to add it quickly to our practice and provide patients with another choice for their lips.”
The product will enjoy more widespread distribution later in October.
